Hey friend! I am so glad you are here. When you love the way you look, you begin to show up differently - that's the power of transformation.I understand the desire to have confidence both inside and out, to feel visible in a noisy world.
Are you like me and even though the temps may still be saying summer you are looking forward to Fall ? Every season Pantone, the world’s predictor of color, comes out with its shades of the season. You will see these shades everywhere, fashion, home goods, interiors etc.
Ready to start your Fall shopping? Me Too! Here are the colors you should be looking for
From the Pantone website HERE the colors for Fall 2022/2023 reflect our new lifestyles that are a hybrid of what they used to be, with more of us working from home. The Fall ’22 colors help us with our need for texture, calm and comfort which are all yearning for as we navigate our new way of engaging with others. Also, according to their website “the colors also illustrate our need to break free of restraint and embrace the joy of being alive through super bright hues expressing energy boosting vitality and the celebration of life.“
It’s always a great idea to add one or two of the Fall colors into your wardrobe to keep your wardrobe current with the season. My suggestion would be to make sure that the ones you choose fit into the color palette that works best for you.
You do not have to wear all 10 colors to be fashionable! If a seasonal color doesn’t work with your coloring, try it in an accessory or your shoes!
For example, if Orange Tiger isn’t a flattering color on you, try picking up hints of it in a plaid or an accessory. There is no sense wearing a color to be in fashion if it doesn’t look amazing on you!
This happy, sun filled color is a bright light in Fall days. Pantone describe it as cheerful, enlightening and illuminating. Yes, please! If this is a color you can wear, go for it! If not, add this pop of color in accessories to get that cheerful feel as the days grow shorter!
Orange is a mainstay color for most of us in the Fall and this whimsical shade is full of saturated color. What a fun addition to a fall wardrobe.
Rose Violet is a gorgeous shade of fuchia, which when we look careful at autumn leaves we can find this shade. The bright, vibrance of this color is sure to help your Fall wardrobe shine.
If I am honest, this is my favorite. A bright green like this is a fun shade and is unusual to be included in a Fall color palette. This lush color is a bit of a rebel to add to your wardrobe!
This gentle, soft pink envelopes the senses with its femininity and has traditionally has been more of a spring color. For those of us that know that pink is one of our strong colors that we can wear, this being a part of the fall palette is a reason to rejoice! It is perfect for those date nights but can easily be worn for work as well.
The name of this color just brings a smile! The bright, bluish green is a cleansing color and if the rich dark traditional jewel tones of fall don’t suit you, this color will help all of those rich plaids and darker colors pop!
Yum! Not only does this color just sound yummy but the depth of this color is so cozy and comforting. This color brings up notions of lattes and fall leaves, perfect for your fall palette.
This serene color is universally flattering, no matter skin tone or hair color. It evokes the image of the sky on a cold, crisp evening. This is a color that will harmonize with so many pieces in everyones wardrobe, it is sure to be a favorite.
This color is something that I consider a neutral for my clients, especially if you are not a fan of the traditional khaki color. This anchoring color is set to become the new “it” color for basics and brings a touch of coziness to any fall outfit with it’s olive green color. A must in your fall wardrobe.
It’s always a great idea to incorporate at least a few of the new Fall colors into your wardrobe, and these colors truly do represent Fall at its best. I can almost see the falling leaves and smell the pumpkin spice when I see these colors!
